Calibration Software

Software is provided for maintaining and recalibration of Instrument Systems spectrometers. These programs allow the user to recalibrate all relevant device parameters and thus avoid sending the spectrometer in for service. Appropriate tools and resources (measurement devices and light sources) are nonetheless required for successful utilization of these programs.

The software leads the user step by step through the calibration process. A dialog is provided for each of the parameters to be calibrated, such as wavelength, relative spectral sensitivity and absolute radiometric or photometric values. Within each dialog, the user is guided systematically through the calibration procedure. Additional parameters, such as selection of optical density filters, amplifier gain, etc., can also be calibrated or adjusted.
