The transmission measurement adapter TRA100 permits determination of the spectral transmission properties of widely ranging materials under normal light incidence. Typical applications include the characterization of optical filters and glasses.
Features:
transmission measurements at 0° incidence
optional integrated halogen lamp or fiber connector for external light source
wavelength range 380 - 2200nm or 200 - 2200nm, respectively
sample size: 4 cm x 4 cm x 6 cm (H x W x D)
measurement area approx. 1 cm across
The TRA100 is compatible with all Instrument Systems spectrometers. Coupling of the transmitted light into the spectrometer is accomplished via a multimode fiber and SMA connector, or with a fiber bundle. Additionally, two options are available for the choice of light source - a compact 10W halogen lamp fixed to the adapter or a fiber connector for use with a light source from the LS100 / LS500 series manufactured by Instrument Systems.
